Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

 This week I have two posts from Jun 2010. The first is Flynn with his base of tail poof.

I am so embarassed! I don't know how mum could do this to me. When I am really happy, I purr very loudly. I also poof the base of my tail, not all of it as if I was scared, just the bottom 2 or 3 inches to show how happy I am. Now if mum wanted you to know that, you would think she would just tell you wouldn't you, but no, she had to take a photo to let all the world see not just my tail poof, but my spot #13 as well.
You would think things couldn't get any worse wouldn't you, but oh yes they can...........


She enlarged it!!! Oh the shame. Never mind the tail poof, how can a mancat like me hold my head high again knowing the world has seen my spot #13 and ::whispers:: I hadn't had chance to clean it.

The second post is from Eric and is called The Lookout.

It has been quite hot here lately so mum has been taking us for walks in the evenings when it is cooler.

I stand here on my vantage point and look across the fields to make sure there is no danger in the coming darkness.

I make sure I look in all directions.

Okay, that is enough of that. Lets go and get some supper.

Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

 This week it is two short posts both from June 2010.

The first was originally an Easy Like Sunday.

It is so hot we are just lying around everywhere. Even the cool earth isn't really cool.

I prefer to lie in the border with mum's new bedding plants that she just put in.

What do you mean, I'm flattening them?

The next one was called Picnic.

It has been so hot that we didn't even have the energy to go indoors for our supper, so mum brought it out to us. It was like having a picnic.

For Flynn it was Abstract at 55%, then Beauty at 50%.

 This week the flashback comes from June 2010 and was a Mancat Monday.

Rassle.

Flynn: Aarghhh! Stop biting my leg Eric.

Ouch! I knew you were planning that.



All I wanted to do was sniff the exciting smell Eric had found. Now he has tired himself out, I can sniff to my heart's content.

I used Hunger at 45%, then Beauty at 50%.

Only one art so I did an AI art to make up for it.

I usually use Night Café for AI art but I tried Pizap the other day, and entered "Ginger cat, pen and watercolour."

Remembering Flynn

 Remembering Flynn 4th April 2000 - 1st May 2017.

Seven years have passed and it doesn't seem possible that it is that long since you had to leave us.
We will always love and miss you, our sweet boy.

This week I have two short flash backs, Flynn from May 2010, and Eric from June 2010. Eric's has a video too which I am hoping will work as I had a problem copying it and had to go back to the original url.

Mancats like to play like kittens sometimes.

Eric and Dad.
Dad has been coming with us lately when we take mum for her walks. We often sit on the grass together having some man time. He even helps me show off my tummy.



On the way back we sometimes play with long bits of grass. You can see my tummy again at the end of the video.
